In order to maintain the in-parish tuition rate for the school year a family must be registered in Sts. Cyril & Methodius Parish or Holy Trinity Parish and support the parish on a regular basis in a way that can be documented (tithing envelopes).

State law requires that all new students and those in Grades Kindergarten, 1, 3, & 5 have a vision and hearing test at the beginning of the school year.

You may take your child to your own physician or have the tests done in school by a State Certified Screener.

If you have your physician test your child, we MUST receive results of the screening tests by September 1st of the current school year.

All children without test results on file and all who are not tested by their own physician WILL be tested in school.

A fee of $7.50 is required at registration for tests performed in school.

Documents Required for New Students

1.   Birth Certificate (Original)—We will make a copy for our files. The child must meet the following age requirements:

         For Pre-Kindergarten:   4 years of age on or before 9-1-05

         For Kindergarten:   5 years of age on or before 9-1-05

         For Grade 1:   6 years of age on or before 9-1-05

2. Baptismal Certificate (Original) — We will make a copy for our files.

3. Child’s Social Security card – We will make a copy for our files.

4. Proof of complete up-to-date immunizations (please consult your physician).

5. Copies of any legal documents relating to custody arrangements.

6. School copy of most recent report card.

7. A child entering Grade 1 or above must present acceptable Test data from the previous school.

8. A “Survey of Special Needs” and a “Parent Perspective Form” must be completed.

9. The registration fee of $185 per child is required when notified of acceptance. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

10.As applications are reviewed by the Principal, an interview with the students’ parents may be requested.
